Hi! I'm a Senior Advertising major, and I am so glad to be your president this year. This is my 4th year in collegiate DECA, my 6th year in DECA all together and my 13th year being around DECA because my mom is a high school advisor. I have gotten so much out of this amazing organization, and I am hoping I can lead you so that you can benefit from it as much as I have!

ABOUT US
UNT DECA is an affiliate of National DECA. Collegiate DECA focuses on preparing its members for life outside of college. At UNT DECA, we like to focus on professional development for any field that you are looking at going into.

Collegiate DECA has chapters on 250+ campuses around the world, and Texas Collegiate DECA has 7 active chapters across the state, with more than 300 members.
​
It is UNT DECA's fourth year having a chapter and we have been luck to witness not only our chapter grow tremendously in this time, but also our state. In 2015-16, we had 22 competitors at our state competition with 18 of them advancing to International competiton. We had 7 competitors at Internationals and came home with 3 top ten finalist awards, 1 top ten test score award and several chapter awards.

In the past we have had many competitors at the International competition. In 2014, we had a member run, and be elected, for a Executive Vice President position on the Executive (international) officer team.
